A Purple Victorianesque Pincushion

I also have to show off my inspiration art journaling from yesterday.

I affixed crumpled tissue paper onto the paper w/matte medium, dried it and then sprayed with some inks I had.  After the ink was dry I used a fine point permanent marker to follow the tissue wrinkles and fashion some trees. 

Technique is from Shelly M. Broughton who was featured in the Spring 2011 Somerset Apprentice.

I just love art journaling.  Just doing, just creating and not worrying about it being a work of art.
